Sustainability targets

The Schaeffler Group is reporting the progress of its sustainability targets on a regular basis. In addition to focusing on internal management, the company also wants to create greater clarity in external communication regarding the status of its sustainability performance.

With two strategic targets set, in the reporting year, in the areas of freshwater withdrawal und carbon-neutral production, the company promotes measures for climate and environmental protection throughout its value chain.

The strategic objectives include measures that the company wants to use to apply in order to achieve positive environmental, social, and economic effects through its business activities and to create sustainable company value. Additionally, the respective target achievement status and the corresponding target deadline by which the measures will be implemented are outlined.
